INDICATIONS:
Tetramisole 600mg bolus is used for the prevention and treatment of parasitic diseases caused by round gastrointestinal and lungworms in cattle, sheep and goats.
Tetramisole 600mg bolus is also recommended in poultry against ascarides and capillarles.
Tetramisole 600mg bolus is a broad spectrum anthelmintic and is active against adult and larval stages of Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus Cooperia, nematodirus, Bunostomum metastrongylus, Ascaris, Hyostrongylus and Trichuris and against and natural infections. Because of its activity against the larval stages, it is also active against H.Contortus and T.Colubriformis.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Oral administration
Tetramisole 600mg bolus is easily administered by oral route by mixing in concen trates since animals do not have any difficulty to swallow it.
Cattle, Sheep, Goats:
1bolus for 40kg body weight to be mixed in feed.
Poultry:
1bolus for 6-12kg body weight to be mixed in feed.
PRECAUTION:
Do not overdose.
Do not use during pregnancy. Especially for the first 45 days of pregnancy.
Long-term continuous use can cause drug resistance and crossed drug resistance.
WITHDRAWAL TIME:
Meat: 3days
Milk: 1day
